“The child is made of one hundred.
The child has a hundred languages
a hundred hands a hundred thoughts
a hundred ways of thinking
of playing, of speaking.
A hundred always a hundred…”

Drawing on the pedagogical ideas of Reggio Emilia this workshop will introduce some of the concepts and theories behind the 100 languages, the purpose of the atelier and the visual arts as a means to make connections between experiences and ideas. The three presenters will look at an overview of the 100 languages, drawing as a tool to communicate ideas, and the natural environment as a provocation for music making.
