Introduction to the Principles of Teaching and Learning in Reggio Emilia

Inspire your own teaching practice in 2017!

Join us first for the story of the Reggio Approach, and then explore the potential of the “Hundred Languages of Children” in a hands on workshop. On this journey, we will introduce and unpack some of the key guiding principles of the Reggio Approach, and set challenges for your own practice here in Aotearoa New Zealand. You will then have the choice of attending one of two workshops which will introduce and give practical ideas for working with clay, or wire; with infants, toddlers and young children.

    Morena,
If an introductory course into Reggio Amelia approach is offered later in the year…I would love to come. Unfortunately the price of flights mean that I am unable to attend. Do you have any further information/links or suggestions as to where I could begin my journey into Reggio. I am a BTchLn ECE trained teacher currently teaching in rural Mid Canterbury, this is my 13th year of teaching and I am interested in exploring different philosophies to enhance outcomes for children. I am also interested in teaching abroad next year…and Reggio is internationally acclaimed! Naku noa, Kylee
